TW Power Services is excited to announce the execution of new agreements with Pacific Hydro for the Operations and Maintenance of the Portland Wind Energy Project (II, II and IV), Yaloak South Wind Farm and Crowlands Wind Farm. Under the new agreements for these five sites, TW Power Services will operate and maintain Pacific Hydro’s fleet of 127 Re-Power/ Senvion MM82 and MM92 wind turbines, and associated balance of plant equipment.
These new agreements consolidate TW Power Services as the operator for the majority of Pacific Hydro’s wind farms, adding to the existing O&M agreements for the Challicum Hills, Yambuk and Codrington wind farms – more than 350MW of Pacific Hydro’s wind assets. In addition to operations and maintenance activities at the sites, the assets will also be monitored by TWPS’ Central Control Room as a total package with guaranteed availability.
Russell Claxton, CEO of TW Power Services said “TW Power Services is delighted to have been selected by Pacific Hydro to look after these significant renewable energy assets. To negotiate this new agreement with Pacific Hydro entirely remotely under the current Covid-19 circumstances is testament to the strong, collaborative relationship between our companies. We look forward to further successful operations with Pacific Hydro.”
TW Power Services is the largest independent operator of power generation plants in Australia, with ~9GW of assets under care including renewable and thermal generation technologies, and operations in the Asia Pacific region.
